Located in a new hall of 2000 m2 plus the additional expansion of 2000 m2 under construction in the TAC free zone of Tangiers, the company has the necessary tools for the production of sheets for all types of electrical transformers.
Our activity is based on the transformation of electric steel for the transformer industry, and specializes in cutting electric oriented grain steel (GOES) of length ranging from 50 mm to 990 mm and width ranging from 0.20 mm to 0.35 mm.
STEELFID will be divided into five production lines: the first line will be for slitting coils, while the other 4 lines will be for cutting transverse and longitudinal sheets, for distribution and power transformers.

Storage and reception of the raw material
Storage operations are carried out in the factory with a capacity of more than 1500 tons per month, quality ranging from 0.20 to 0.35 with losses ranging from 0.70 to 1.10 W/Kg 1.7 T
Upon reception of the coils, several visual and physical checks are carried out: :
· Integrity of packaging
· Weight and size of coils
Technical specifications check:
· Thickness
· Loss of electrical steel in W/kg 1.5-1.7 Tesla
· Coating resistence
In accordance with international standard IEC 60404-03/IEC 60404-11.
